The wait is over, Heartland Football Friday has arrived!
Opening night in Kentucky is always interesting because the regular season games start a week earlier than those in Illinois and Missouri.
A great one to Kick things off with Mayfield visiting Marshall County. Marshall County is a larger school but Mayfield is traditionally one of the states elite teams.
Chad Fryman will anchor our live coverage from Benton, Kentucky.
While regular season play rules in the commonwealth, Jamboree action highlights Missouri play.
The Farmington Jamboree is always a classic with four teams from the heartland against four teams from the St. Louis area. Southeast Missouri is represented by Cape Central, Jackson, Poplar Bluff and Host Farmington.
We'll have highlights and reaction along with live coverage from the Chaffee Jamboree.
It's generally quiet in Southern Illinois highlighted by intrasquad scrimmages.
Our Heartland Football Friday crew will take in the action at Marion and we'll also preview the Du Quoin Indians.
